Chat workspaces
Workspace settings
Manage everything about a single workspace: its apps, messaging channels, AI instructions, members, and files.
Opening workspace settings
Open the workspace you want to edit, then tap Settings in the top bar. You will see a left-hand menu with tabs. Personal workspaces hide the Members tab because there is nobody else to invite.
Apps tab
The Apps tab lists every app available inside this workspace. Apps added here apply to this workspace only. You can also pull in apps your organisation has already connected so you do not need to re-authenticate them.
- 1
Tap Add to open the App Directory filtered for apps you can add here.
- 2
Pick the app and sign in to the provider.
- 3
Choose which parts of the app Zenning can use.
Messaging Channels tab
This tab is where you link messaging tools so your workspace can reply to people outside Zenning — for example, replying to WhatsApp messages automatically or posting to a Slack channel. You will see options like Link WhatsApp, Slack, or Telegram and a WhatsApp Number field once linked.
AI Instructions tab
Edit the instructions Zenning should always follow in this workspace — tone, processes, terminology, audience. Changes take effect on the next message you send.
Members tab
Add or remove people from the workspace and change their role between Member, Admin, and Owner. Personal workspaces show a friendly note instead: “Personal workspaces don’t have shared members. To collaborate, share individual threads with others.”
Files and Folders tab
Browse the documents and folders this workspace can read. You can upload new files, delete ones you no longer want Zenning to use, and connect folders from apps like Google Drive or Notion.
